Public Works Services
Services
In addition to providing maintenance and improvements to the City’s entire infrastructure, the City of Upland Public Works Department provides many additional services to its residents. Services include: free mulch, free oil and filter transport containers, free sharps containers, hazardous waste disposal, and free sandbags. Some services, such as free mulch and sandbags, are provided based on availability and are not guaranteed on a daily basis.
Programs
The City of Upland offers variety of programs for its residents to utilize. The donation program offers residents the ability to donate items such as trees, benches, and other miscellaneous park items. Dedication plaques may accompany the items that are donated, unless there is a location safety concern. For tree donations specifically, the City offers residents the chance to donate to have trees trimmed or replanted ahead of normal City schedule.
