City of Upland Bleed Safe Community Program

In response to the growing needs for preparedness in critical incidents, the City of Upland is pursuing the implementation of a Bleed Safe Community Program.  This initiative will equip local businesses and community members in the city with the necessary training, supplies, and knowledges to respond effectively to traumatic injuries, specifically severe bleeding incidents, until professional medical help arrives.  The goal is to create a network of trained businesses that can act as immediate responders, saving lives, and providing critical support in times of crisis.
