Hometown Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting
The City of Upland’s Hometown Holiday Parade & Faire continues with added features to enjoy with family and friends this holiday season. This will be an event for everyone to enjoy! Downtown Upland is transformed into a winter wonderland featuring:
- Traditional Hometown Parade
- Highlighting the festive Downtown and the beauty of our community.
- Holiday Festivities
- Pet live Reindeer, and enjoy a Holiday Train Ride, Pony Rides, games, crafts, treats, face painting, and more. Some activities offered for a nominal fee.
- Photos with Santa
- Bring your camera and your smile.
- Expanded Food Vendors
- Dine at one of the many local restaurants or enjoy a treat at the many food vendors featuring a variety of international delights.
- Holiday Craft Boutique
- Start or finish your holiday shopping at the quaint stores and shops or find a unique gift from a Holiday Boutique crafter.
- Kids Stage
- Enjoy the winter night with a concert featuring local performance groups and your favorite holiday tunes.

- 3:30 p.m. Photos with Santa Begin
- 6:00 p.m. Event Ends
Parade Participation Application
- All applications must be complete and emailed to mmeade@uplandca.gov by or before October 24. Applications are reviewed in order received.
- Priority will be given to Upland based businesses, clubs, and organizations.

Vendor/Exhibitor Participation
- All applications must be complete and emailed to drwright@uplandca.gov by or before October 4. Applications are reviewed in order received. Priority will be given to Upland based businesses, clubs, and organizations.

- Sponsorships applications must be complete and emailed to tcova@uplanca.gov by November 5 to ensure all sponsorship benefits are available.

Would you like to be one of Santa’s Little Helpers? Volunteers are needed to bring the holiday magic at one of the many features during the event.
- Priority for volunteers confirmed by November 1.
- Volunteers may receive school credit, promote their service group, meet great new friends.
- You may also attend an Elf Squad meeting at the Gibson Senior Center, located at 250 N. 3rd Avenue in Upland.
