The VolunTeen Program is a year-round program, June 2023 to June 2024, with an emphasis on summer programming. VolunTeens will the opportunity to broaden their horizons and experience what it means to help out in their community, while assisting the Upland Recreation and Community Services Division staff with summer programming and special events located in Recreation facilities, schools, and local parks. After the conclusion of summer programs, other volunteer opportunities will be available throughout the year. The VolunTeen Program will culminate with a recognition event in the Spring of 2024 for those with 25 or more volunteered hours. To be eligible to participate and for a letter of accomplishment and recommendation, all VolunTeens must volunteer a minimum of 25 hours from June 1st through December 1st.

VolunTeen Interest forms will be available in office and online Monday, April 3 through Thursday, May 18. All completed forms must be submitted to the Upland Recreation and Community Services Division located at 651 W. 15th Street, Upland or via email to kcooper@uplandca.gov, no later than Thursday, May 18.
